My Memory Necklaces are mini-portraits of a loved one. The necklaces are made of polished chrome frames and archival safe microscope glass. The glass measures 2x2. They can each hold one single or two single portraits (one on each side). When searching for the perfect gift this holiday season, and nothing seems right, give the gift that will be treasured forever, give them a Memory!

A limited number of Antiqued Copper and Black Patina frames are now available...These are finished with a matching ribbon.

The cost of the painting of the portrait 'is' included in the cost of the necklace and consists of a head shot or closeup face shot. More detailed paintings (like the one of my grandson on the pumpkins) can be used, but the cost does increase. Remember, I always provide FREE estimates!

I was recently asked to help her create Thank You cards for a gala tenth anniversary party, using a beautiful flower arrangement from the day and the most scrumptious looking cake...I not only enjoyed creating these two paintings, I also think they showcase some of the variety of 'The Slice's of Life' that my paintings portray.

Something about Ferris Wheels mixed with that time of day that greets the evening bring back memories of childhood...

I love snapping photos of, well, everything! This old truck is parked along a popular backroad route that I often travel and I had been meaning to capture this 'Slice of Life' for quite a while when one day, I did just that. From that single photo, sprung this painting.

I have loved photography for as long as I have known what a camera was...I think I was about five when I took my first pictures. My horse, Katie, my bunny, who was not very originaly named Bunners, and my short lived companion, a small brown hamster whose name defies me from remembering were my first models.

Jump ahead several decades, and a love of computers joined with my everlasting fascination of photography, have joined together to create what can only be described as a passion, My Passion! Digital Art Painting.

I hope to share this passion with others through transforming not only my own photographs, but also other people's favorite photographs into stunning, original, pieces of artwork. What is Digital Art Painting?

It is a term used to describe a process of application of brushstrokes to media. However, instead of oils or chalks, the artist uses a professional painting program on their computer, thus having at their reach a varied and wide assortment of brushes, color palettes, and even textures. This is not some quick action or trick... each brush stroke is individually applied by the artist. The finished paintings, with truly stunning effects, are then printed on canvas, Fine Art papers, and other forms of media, resulting in a heirloom piece of art that will be treasured for generations to come! The stretched canvas that my paintings are applied to are museum quality. All Fine Art papers are premium archival grade paper.
